1 cup short grain brown rice (or glutinous)
4 cups water
1 cup raisins
1 cinnamon stick
powered cinnamon q.b.
lemon zest q.b.
- soak the rice overnight and cook it in the fresh water with pinch of salt, cinnamon stick and lemon zest q.b.
- add the raisins and cook a little more until it has a creamy texture (if necessary add water or vegetable drink)
- serve it hot garnished with raisins and cinnamon powder to taste
- if you prefer a little more sweet add rice syrup on top
